Nagaland: YouthNet organised a business pitching event for the North East Entrepreneurship Development Program (NEEDP), which offers a venue for startups and entrepreneurs to present their original ideas and perhaps get finance for their businesses.
YouthNet stated in a press release that judges on the panel comprised the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Senior Mentor of IIM Calcutta, Debapratim Das, the Assistant Director (Tech) and Team Leader of Startup India, Department of Industry & Commerce Keneirienuo K Theunuo, the Director of YouthNet, Nuneseno Chase, Assistant Professor of Management from Nagaland University Dr. Ditalak Mpanme, and the Program Head, IIM Calcutta Innovation Park
A total of forty startups and entrepreneurs from Nagaland pitched their ventures at the YouthNet Incubation Center, demonstrating excellent presentation skills, a compelling value proposition, and a thorough knowledge of the target market and rivals.
It should be emphasised that NEEDP is a North Eastern Council programme that IIM Calcutta Innovation Park is partnering with to achieve. Its goal is to build an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem that can support socio-economic development and employment creation in the North East area. For the purpose of identifying a target group of 270 entrepreneurs through a methodical, transparent selection process that ensures representation from each state, the North East Entrepreneurship Challenge (Hunt) is being held for current and aspiring entrepreneurs across all eight states of the North East.
