NBCC bags Rs 75 crore contract for IIIT Nagpur infra expansion

New Delhi: NBCC (India) Ltd has won a contract worth Rs 75 crore for constructing more infrastructure at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur. The company announced on Thursday that it has obtained an important project to build and enhance more infrastructure at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Nagpur.

With a project cost estimated at Rs 75 crore, this initiative represents a major advancement in improving the educational amenities at IIIT Nagpur, which is situated approximately 25 kilometers away from the city. After Phase I was successfully finished, with an Academic Block (G+5), an Admin Block (G+2), a Hostel Block (G+10), and a Residential Block (G+11), the institute is now prepared to further grow its infrastructure.

Phase II will involve building an Academic Block B, as well as necessary external construction and related electrical and mechanical services. Furthermore, the plan includes a cafeteria able to accommodate around 200 students and a versatile hall capable of hosting up to 1,000 students and visitors.
