Nagaland State Co-opertive Bank Ltd opens its 23rd branch in Longleng

Longleng: The Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd on Wednesday opened its 23rd branch in the Longleng district in the northern part of Nagaland.

Deputy Commissioner of Longleng, Dharam Raj, who attended as the special guest, stressed that the bank's primary goal is to "help the people financially, not for profit." "Financial inclusion is crucial for development.", he stressed.

According to officials, the bank will follow all guidelines but have some flexibility, unlike other banks. General Manager Jonah Sema highlighted various schemes and initiatives launched by the bank, stating that the 23rd =branch represents "hope for financial empowerment and progress for the vibrant community of Longleng town." Short speeches were delivered by several other key dignitaries who attended the event.

The Nagaland State Co-opertive Bank is Nagaland's second largest bank and has been operational since 1966. NSCB is sponsored by the state government.
