HPCL’s LPG Bottling Plant at Goalpara to bring uninterrupted supply of LPG

Matia: Rameswar Teli, Minister of state for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Labor & Employment, Government of India, announces HPCL LPG Plant at Matia marks a new chapter of development and progress in Assam.

Minister, Rameswar Teli, dedicates the HPCL LPG Bottling Plant at Matia, Goalpara in Assam to the Nation.

The HPCL LPG Bottling Plant at Matia, with a capacity of 30 TMTPA, is spread across 30 acres of land at the Industrial Development Center. The project, costing approximately Rs. 70 crores, is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and will cater to the LPG needs of approximately 8 lakh consumers through around 75 HPCL LPG Distributors in the states of Assam, Tripura, Nagaland, and Meghalaya.

During his address, Rameswar Teli mentioned that the HPCL LPG Plant at Matia marks a new chapter of development and progress in Assam. He highlighted that the plant will not only improve the quality of life for local people but also boost the local economy. He further emphasized that the uninterrupted supply of LPG in the region will contribute to the ongoing celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav across the country.

Taking to tweeter, Teli informs that the plant will supply LPG cylinders to consumers in Assam, Meghalaya & Tripura through a network of 50 distributors. It is a matter of great pride that this project built at a cost of about Rs. 70 crore will fulfill the needs of all consumers in the present & the future.

Pushp Kumar Joshi, Chairman and Managing Director of HPCL, informed about the features and capabilities of the HPCL LPG Bottling Plant at Matia in his address.

The dedication of the HPCL LPG Bottling Plant at Matia is a significant milestone for HPCL’s commitment towards providing reliable and efficient LPG supply to the North Eastern region of India.

On the occasion, Teli also felicitated the Ujjwala beneficiaries.
