Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh government released a 10 percent state-owned revenue to the PRIs of Tirap district during a programme.
Attending the session, Arunachal MLA Wanglam Sawin urged the PRI leaders to use the cash wisely and in accordance with the rules. He also pleaded with them to make sure the people paid their outstanding water and energy bills as soon as possible.
DC Tirap Hento Karga also urged the panchayat members to use the panchayat cash for village-level development projects.
The DC stated that panchayat leaders should have a moral commitment to improve their particular communities as responsible members of society.
DPDO Haskresha Kri and Tirap ZPC Chathong Lowang also spoke during the programme.
