Guwahati: The NER Chapter of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) organized 'POTENTIAL NORTH EAST - An Agri Export Business Meet' between the north-eastern region of India and Bhutan at NEDFi Convention Centre, Dispur, in Guwahati on Monday, stated a press release.
The main agenda of the event included cooperation in the agricultural sector, price competitiveness, food safety, and product quality, availability of produce, market access, supply chain, and opportunities in the export of agricultural produce between the two countries
The Consul General of Bhutan to Assam, Jigme Thinlye Namgyal, graced the event as the guest of honor.
Other speakers of the event included officials from Customs, National Plant Protection Organisation, State Bank of India, Agri Clinic, and Agri-Business Centre.
