AGP Leaders on Union Budget 2024-25

In an exclusive interview with Business North East, AGP leaders Keshab Mahanta and Atul Bora shared their perspectives on the Union Budget 2024-25. Highlighting the budget’s focus on employment, skilling, and MSMEs, they expressed optimism for Assam and the Northeast.

Keshab Mahanta, Minister of Transport, IT, Science, Technology & Climate Change, praised the budget’s emphasis on job creation and skill development. “Significant investments in IT infrastructure will create a robust ecosystem for job growth,” Mahanta noted.

Atul Bora, Minister of Agriculture, Horticulture and Food Processing, and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, emphasized the support for MSMEs. “The budget’s measures for MSMEs, including credit access and subsidies, will enhance their competitiveness and drive economic diversification,” Bora said.
