Mumbai: TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) stated on Wednesday that it is set to invest Rs 200 crore to establish a facility in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. According to TVS ILP, the company has already received 20 acres of land from the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation for the plant. The logistics park, located just 25 kilometers from Indore, will meet the region's expanding demand for high-quality warehousing while also creating a strong market for local products.
Additionally, the project is planned to create jobs for approximately 1,000 people in and around Indore. TVS ILP's arrival into Indore will deliver cutting-edge, technology-driven warehouses that match worldwide standards for operational efficiency and sustainability, it claimed. TVS ILP is well-positioned to meet the region's growing need for Grade-A logistics facilities, particularly among e-commerce, retail, and FMCG businesses looking for efficient and compliant storage solutions, according to the company.
TVS ILP Enters Indore to Enhance Logistics Efficiency and Position the City as a Strategic Hub
According to TVS ILP, the initiative aims to cut transit times and enhance overall efficiency of goods delivery to end users, giving enterprises a competitive advantage in their logistics operations. "Madhya Pradesh, a landlocked state, has a lot of potential to become a logistics hub given its location and proximity to other states. "Our entry into Indore is consistent with TVS ILP's vision of being the industry leader in technology-enabled infrastructure solutions," stated Ramnath Subramaniam, CEO of TVS ILP.
