Train between India and Bangladesh temporarily cancelled

New Delhi: The Indian Railways has canceled the services of a train running between New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal and Bangladesh capital Dhaka due to the Eid festival celebrations in consultation with the Bangladesh Railway. 

To clear the extra passenger rush, NFR has continued services for two pairs of special trains, bearing no. 06221/06222 (Mysuru-Muzaffarpur -Mysuru) for two trips each and train no. 01665/01666 (Rani Kamlapati-Agartala-Rani Kamlapati) for twenty-six trips each in both directions. These trains will run with existing days of service, timings, and stoppages, according to officials.

Train no. 06221 (Mysuru-Muzaffarpur) special has been extended to run from June 17-24 every Monday. In the return direction, train no. 06222 (Muzaffarpur-Mysuru) special has been extended to run from June 20-27 every Thursday.

Train no. 01665 (Rani Kamlapati-Agartala) Weekly Express special has been extended to run from June 27-December 26 every Thursday and from June 30-December 29 every Sunday.
