Guwahati: This summer vacation, Gujaratis from as far as Jamnagar will be able to take a train right up to Arunachal Pradesh's capital Itanagar.
The Indian Railways (IRCTC) has announced the launch of two pairs of summer special trains between Howrah – New Jalpaiguri and Hapa – Naharlagun. These trains will operate for eleven trips each in both directions from April 17 to June 29.
The first train, no. 03027, departs from Howrah at 11:55 pm every Wednesday from April 17 to June 26, 2024, and arrives at New Jalpaiguri at 10:45 am the next day. The second train, no. 03028, departs from New Jalpaiguri at 12:45 pm on every Thursday from April 18 to June 27, 2024, and arrives at Howrah at 12:10 am the next day.
The train will run through various stations and will have 22 coaches. The second train, no. 09525, departs from Hapa at 12:40 pm every Wednesday from April 17 to June 26, 2024, and arrives at Naharlagun at 4 pm on Friday.
The third train, no. 09526, departs from Naharlagun at 10:00 am every Saturday from April 20 to June 29, 2024, and arrives at Hapa at 12:30 am on Tuesday. The details of these special trains can be found on the IRCTC website and social media platforms of the NF Railway.
