Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has inaugurated several development projects worth Rs 300 crore in Udalguri district.
Sarma laid the foundation stones for Ekalavya school and a police outpost and sanctioned Rs 20 crore for a new college.
He also laid the foundation stones for a mini stadium, a model tea garden school, an elephant watch tower, a handloom cluster and Jagannath Community Hall and Training Centre for the tea garden workers.
The foundation stones for Nanaikhuti Multi-village Public Water Supply Project worth Rs 178.53 crore under Jal Jeevan Mission in Dimakuchi was also laid.
