Periodicity of summer special trains between Assam and Kerala extended

One-way special train between Guwahati and Howrah also introduced

Guwahati: The Northeast Frontier (NF) Railway has extended the services of two pairs of special trains, running Nagercoil Junction in Kerala and Dibrugarh in Assam "to clear extra passenger rushes", officials said.

These trains numbered 06103/06104 and 06105/06106, will run for two trips each in both directions, with existing service days, timings, and stoppages.

Additionally, the railway has decided to operate a one-way summer special train between Guwahati and Howrah on Friday. The trains will run from June 7-21 every Friday, and from June 12t-26, every Wednesday. 

The extension will benefit waitlisted passengers of other trains on those routes. The one-way special train will depart from Guwahati at 5:50 am on June 7 and reach Howrah at 3 am on Saturday. The details of stoppages and timings of these trains can be found on the IRCTC website and social media platforms of the NF Railway.
