NEDFI organized its 9th edition of The North East Craft Carnival. The carnival showcased the rich heritage and skillset of the 8 North Eastern states. The Craft Carnival started on 9th August and will conclude on 2nd September and is open from 11am to 7pm. It gave a platform to the artisans to showcase their products.
The products ranged from handloom and handicrafts to a varied range of clothing items, food products , accessories and more. Some of the special items worth mentioning are black pottery from Manipur, Natural Dye and silk garments from Assam, sugar free chocolates from Sikkim, 8 elements handmade diary, table runners from Nagaland and many more.
