Aizawl: Mizoram Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma has launched Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP), MSME Facilitation Cell, and MSME Portals Mizoram at Vanapa Hall.
At the inaugural ceremony, the Mizoram CM outlined his government's plans for the development of MSME units in Mizoram, aiming to revive the industrial sector during his tenure.
The first year will focus on industries related to ginger, areca nut, and other agriculture-based products. Pu Lalduhoma challenged young Mizo entrepreneurs to venture into business and urged existing units to enhance production levels and quality to meet market demand.
According to an official release, he has pledged to stand by them every step of the way, even offering 100 percent subsidies on bank interest for those demonstrating deserving efforts. The meeting was chaired by Pi Florence Zotluangpuii, Director of Commerce and Industry.
