Guwahati: Megha Nidhi Dahal, an IAS officer from Sikkim, has been appointed as the Transport Commissioner of the government of Assam, officials confirmed.
Dahal has held various positions in public administration and governance. He was relieved from his duties as Project Director for the Assam Infrastructure Investment Programme during a major bureaucratic reshuffle by the Assam government on November 30, 2015.
Dahal is a 2015 batch IAS officer from Sikkim.
