IRB Infra toll revenue collection grows 19 pc to Rs 502 cr in Sep

New Delhi : In September, IRB Infrastructure reported a 19 per cent increase in its toll revenue to Rs 502 crore. IRB stated in a filing with the exchange that revenues from toll collection business had amounted to Rs 421 crore in the corresponding month of the previous year. IRB MP Expressway in Maharashtra generated the highest revenue of Rs 136.8 crore among its 17 tolls, with IRB Ahmedabad Vadodara Super Express Tollway following closely behind with Rs 58.4 crore contribution.

Amitabh Murarka, Deputy CEO of IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited, stated that their toll revenue has shown strength despite heavy rainfall in certain areas. Looking forward to the holiday season, we are confident in maintaining the growth, fueled by higher rates of travel and economic activities.

IRB is the first infrastructure company in India that is focused on highways. It is the biggest developer of private toll roads and highways infrastructure in India, having assets worth over Rs 80,000 crore in 12 states.
