HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra and major companies to announce Q2 results today

New Delhi: HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tech Mahindra, RBL Bank and several major companies, are expected to announce their financial results for the second quarter of FY25 on Saturday (October 19, 2024).

Kotak Mahindra forecasted to achieve Rs 3,424 cr
Analyst predictions, based on Bloomberg estimates, suggest that HDFC Bank is poised to report a robust net profit of Rs 16,284 crore for the quarter ending in September. Kotak Mahindra Bank is forecasted to achieve a profit of Rs 3,424 crore, with an expected EBITDA margin of 49.9 percent.

Mumbai-based RBL Bank is anticipated to report a net profit of Rs 310 crore.
Other notable companies announcing their Q2 results include the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd., expected to post revenue of Rs 282 crore and a net profit of Rs 139 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 67.3 percent.. IndiaMart InterMesh Ltd. is projected to report a net profit of Rs 107 crore and revenue of Rs 343 crore, along with an EBITDA margin of 32.7 percent.

Dalmia Bharat forecasted a profit of Rs 85 cr
New Delhi-based conglomerate Dalmia Bharat is forecasted to report a profit of Rs 85 crore, revenue of Rs 3,147 crore, and an EBITDA margin of 15.5%.
Additional companies such as PC Jeweller Ltd., UCO Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Rossari Biotech Ltd., and Netweb Technologies India Ltd. will also be announcing their Q2 earnings soon.

Tech Mahindra estimated net profit of Rs 1,013 cr
Tech Mahindra, part of the Mahindra Group, is estimated to post a net profit of Rs 1,013 crore alongside revenue of Rs 13,211 crore. The company’s earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) are projected to reach Rs 1,228 crore, with an EBIT margin of 9.3%.

On October 18, the rally of banking and financial stocks ended a three-day losing streak at the Indian stock market. BSE Sensex rose by over 218 points (0.27%) to finish at 81,224.75, while the NSE Nifty 50 gained over 100.20 points (0.42%) to close at 24,854.05.
