Guwahati: Assam's Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, inaugurated the 'Nilachal Flyover', the longest flyover in Guwahati, measuring 2.6 kilometers.
This four-lane flyover connects Maligaon Chariali to Kamakhya Temple Road tri-junction and was built at a cost of Rs 420 crores.
The flyover's inauguration was preceded by a traffic advisory to ensure smooth access for commuters.
A day prior, CM Sarma shared an aerial video of the flyover on the 'X' platform, captioned, "Tomorrow, we will be dedicating Assam's longest flyover to the people."
