New Delhi: Godrej Properties Ltd's real estate sales increased by 3 per cent to almost Rs 5,200 crore in the second quarter of this financial year due to higher demand for housing. Godrej Properties stated in a regulatory filing that this is the highest Q2 (July-September) booking value they have ever attained. It was stated that in the second quarter of FY25, the booking value increased by 3 per cent year-on-year to almost Rs 5,200 crore from selling more than 5.1 million square feet.
The company saw a YoY increase of 89 per cent in sales booking value, totaling more than Rs 13,800 crore. This milestone was reached by selling over 8,600 homes totaling more than 14 million square feet. Godrej Properties achieved its highest-ever booking value in the first half of a fiscal year. "We are thrilled with the growth we have experienced over the last few years," declared Gaurav Pandey, Managing Director and CEO of Godrej Properties.
In the first half of FY25, sales bookings exceeded Rs 13,800 crore, surpassing the total bookings for all of FY23, he mentioned. ...this increase in sales was propelled by a combination of a better project mix and a significant 89 percent increase in volume. Pandey stated that our strong sales results led to a significant increase in collections and operational cash flow in the first half of FY25, with a growth of 62 pc to Rs 7,000 crore and over 200 pc to Rs 2,800 crore, respectively. Godrej Properties is a top real estate developer in the nation, with a solid foothold in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Pune and Bengaluru. During the 2023-24 fiscal year, the company topped the list of real estate firms in terms of sale bookings to become the largest listed in the industry.
