"Xipinir Xopun: SANEKEE," an initiative showcasing stalls of Assamese weaving women, has been set up inside the NEDFI House. The event, SANEKEE, aims to foster entrepreneurship among these artisans and help them realize their full potential.

Renowned Assamese actress Rimpi Das shared her thoughts, saying, "Assamese weaving women possess immense potential for crafting handloom products like the Mekhela Chador, Riha-Mekhela, and Gamusa. These products are not only beautiful but also reasonably priced. The entrepreneurial spirit is already present in these skilled artisans; they simply need the right platform to flourish.

"Meghali Das, President of SANEKEE, added, "We are creating a platform for these 'xipinis,' or weaving women, to showcase their talent. Many entrepreneurial artisans have been seeking such opportunities, and through SANEKEE, we are giving them the stage they deserve. We’ve invited xipinis from various parts of the state, offering their products at affordable prices."
