Guwahati: Samagra Shiksha Axom has launched two major initiatives: the Civil Works Monitoring Portal and the release of Volumes III and IV of the Career Guidance Table Book towards improving education infrastructure and career development in the state. Assam's Education Minister, Ranoj Pegu, alongside senior officials from Samagra Shiksha, launched the new initiatives. The Career Guidance Table Book is an essential resource for students developed with the support of organizations like NEDFI and UNICEF.

"We are stepping into a new era of digitization for school-related information. The Civil Construction Monitoring App will empower officers and administrators to effectively track and manage site works, ongoing construction activities, and related tasks at schools. The portal is designed to be easy to use and will provide valuable insights into contractors' work, tender types, project amounts, materials used, and much more," Minister Ranoj Pegu said while addressing the media.

Additionally, the Education Minister highlighted the successful completion of 2,600 Digital Libraries within just three months. "These libraries, including digital ones, will serve as important resources for students and teachers. The Career Guidance Table Book will be made available at these libraries and distributed free of cost. It will help students, whether academically advanced or facing difficulties, in making informed decisions about their career paths," Ranoj Pegu added.

This development marks a significant milestone in Assam's educational reforms, with a focus on digital tools and resources aimed at improving both infrastructure and career guidance for students.
