Guwahati: Bharti Airtel has completed the deployment of additional spectrum acquired in July 2024, boosting its 5G/4G network capacity in Assam and the Northeast. The addition of 5 MHz on the 1800 band in Assam and 5 MHz on the 2100 band in both Assam and the Northeast will enhance data speeds, improve indoor coverage, and provide better connectivity across urban and rural areas.
Rajnish Verma, CEO of Airtel Assam and Northeast, highlighted the company's commitment to superior network performance, ensuring faster data and enhanced call connectivity for customers in the region. The deployment also extends coverage along highways and rail routes.
