Bharti Airtel has unveiled a revamped international roaming (IR) portfolio aimed at making global connectivity easier, more affordable, and seamless for its users. The telecom giant has introduced India’s first-ever unlimited international roaming plans, offering unrestricted data usage across 189 countries.
The move will benefit frequent international travellers and the long-staying Non-Resident Indian (NRI) community. As part of the initiative, Airtel has also launched a one-of-its-kind recharge plan priced at Rs 4,000 with a validity of one year. This plan, designed especially for NRIs, includes 5GB of international data and 100 minutes of voice calls for use while overseas.
In a unique twist, the same plan offers extensive benefits for users when they are back in India. Customers can continue using their existing number without any need for a separate recharge, enjoying 1.5GB of daily data and unlimited calling within India.
