ADRE Grade IV Recruitment Exam 2024: Mobile Internet Services to be Suspended on Sunday

Guwahati: Mobile internet services will be temporarily suspended on October 27, 2024 due to Assam Direct Recruitment (ADRE) examination for Class IV positions across the state. As per a notification released by the Assam government, mobile internet, mobile Wi-Fi, and data services from all providers will be offline from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

The State Level Recruitment Commission will conduct written examinations to fill vacant Class IV positions in various state departments. According to reports, a significant number of candidates, 8,27,130, have registered for the first session (9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.), targeting HSLC-level positions at 1,484 examination centers. 

ADRE Grade IV Exam Syllabus

The ADRE Class IV examination will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The exam will be conducted for 5,023 vacancies across different educational levels. The syllabus includes Social Studies, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning and Mental Ability, General Mathematics, and General English. The question paper will be available in Assamese, Bengali, English, Boro, and Hindi. 

In the second session of the ADRE Exam, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., as many as 5,52,002 candidates will appear for Class VIII-level roles across 808 centers in 28 districts. The notification mentioned that certain exam centers have previously faced malpractice issues. The government’s goal is to ensure the examination process remains fair, transparent, and merit-based to select the most deserving candidates. Voice calls and broadband on fixed-line networks will remain unaffected.

ADRE Exam Admit Card 2024

The ADRE Grade IV exam will consist of 135 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark. The duration of the exam is two hours and 30 minutes, with a negative marking of 0.25 for each incorrect answer.
