UST widens India footprint with new Kochi campus; to create over 3,000 jobs in 5 yrs

New Delhi: On Monday, UST, a company specializing in digital transformation solutions, announced intentions to increase its presence in India by creating 3,000 additional jobs at its upcoming Kochi campus within the next five years. As per a statement, the company based in California, United States, is preparing to open its own campus in Kochi, Kerala, by December 2027.

UST, which currently runs a center in Infopark Kochi, serves clients from the US, UK, and Asia Pacific in industries including healthcare, retail, telecom, financial services/asset management, and hi-tech. The organization aims to have 6,000 workers in Kochi within the next five years and currently has over 2,800 employees at its Infopark Kochi site. The UST campus is scheduled to be finished in three years, featuring a 10-story structure containing 4,400 seats, spanning 600,000 square feet.

It was stated that the Kochi campus will be the second campus owned by UST in India after Thiruvananthapuram when it becomes operational. Krishna Sudheendra, CEO of UST, stated that the upcoming campus would enhance the company's position in the area, draw in additional customers, and generate fresh employment prospects, establishing Kochi as a vibrant center for innovation and expansion. UST, which started in India with its main office in Thiruvananthapuram, has grown its footprint in the country by opening offices in Hyderabad, Kochi, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi-NCR, Ahmedabad, and Hosur. Overall, UST employs over 20,000 individuals in India, with approximately 7,500 based in Thiruvananthapuram and more than 6,000 in Bengaluru.
