Guwahati: The Tripura government has signed an MoU with National Thermal Power Corporation Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) in New Delhi to adopt measures for fulfilling green and clean energy targets.
The MoU is signed in presence of Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma.
Saha wrote in a social media post that this MoU will embark the journey towards development of Renewable Energy Projects in Tripura.
According to him, it will help the state in meeting their clean energy commitments to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.
The MoU was signed by Chief General Manager, NTPC REL- Rajiv Gupta and Director General and CEO, Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency- Mahananda Debbarma.
