Sterlite Power bags new orders worth Rs 1,500 cr in Q1 FY’25

New Delhi: On Wednesday, Sterlite Power announced that it has received orders totaling Rs 1,500 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal year for its worldwide products and services operations. According to a company statement, the additional Rs 1,500 crore worth of orders acquired in the first quarter of FY25, both domestically and internationally, adds to the existing total order book of Rs 6,560 crore at the beginning of this financial year.

Per a company statement, orders worth Rs 1,500 crore have been secured by the company in its global Products and Services (GPS) division, which focuses on high performance, environmentally friendly products and specialized Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services. There was a 15 per cent increase in order book from Q1’FY24 as recorded in the quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) data.

The GPS industry is experiencing impressive growth due to the increase in the communication sector and India's strong economic prospects. Reshu Madan, CEO of Global Products and Services, stated that the emerging of our strategic business growth goals is evident in the new orders across different segments.
