Six Tourist vehicles unveiled by Arunachal Pradesh CM in Itanagar

Itanagar: Traveling to remote places in Arunachal Pradesh will not be a headache anymore as the state government has unveiled six special tourist vehicles that will allow visitors to explore areas where accommodation is scarce.

The vehicles were launched by Chief Minister Pema Khandu on February 15 from Civil Secretariat in Itanagar.

The tourist information officer Takom Kena said that these specially constructed vehicles will allow tourists to explore areas of the state where accomodations are scarce.

The officials said that these caravans are designed and constructed specifically for the purpose of travel, leisure and accommodation, will felicitate traveller’s stays in the state’s remote regions, woodlands, forests and riverbanks.

According to them, these caravans will effectively meet the rising demand for lodging in various locations across the state while adhering to quality, safety amd requirements.

The Chief Minister termed it as a new chapter in Arunachal Pradesh tourism.

The Tourism minister Nakap Nalo stated that tourism infrastructures are now being developed on a need-based model.

Officials of the department including Secretary, Director and others attended the event.
