A consultative meeting organized by SCERT Assam focused on developing the School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework (SQAAF) was held at the Administrative Staff College in Guwahati.
The meeting aimed to enhance the quality of examinations and assessments, improve school infrastructure, and address the student-teacher ratio. Education Minister Ranuj Pegu addressed the media, stating, "The purpose of the consultative meeting was to identify and address major and minor concerns.
We are working to resolve these issues accordingly. We plan to conduct serious teacher training and are requesting additional budget. The number of primary school students is decreasing daily, and we need to increase these numbers. Currently, there has been a decrease of approximately 127,000 students."
