ReNew inaugurates 400 MW solar project in Rajasthan

New Delhi: On Wednesday, ReNew announced the completion of a 400 MW solar project in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma launched the initiative with SECI Chairman R P Gupta and ReNew's Founder, Chairman, and CEO Sumant Sinha, along with other distinguished guests, according to a company announcement.

It was stated that ReNew launched a 400 MW solar initiative in Rajasthan, under a 600 MW agreement with SECI to produce renewable energy in Rajasthan for the next 25 years. It is anticipated that the solar power plant will produce approximately 1331 million units of electricity each year.

Furthermore, the project provides a power purchase agreement (PPA) rate of Rs 2.18 per kWh (kilowatt hour).
