New Delhi: Quant Mutual Fund offloaded HEG shares worth Rs 421 crore via open market deals on Friday. Quant Mutual Fund (MF) sold 18.62 lakh shares of HEG in two bulk deals on both the BSE and NSE.
According to the information, Quant MF sold 9.5 lakh shares of HEG on the Bombay Stock Exchange and liquidated 9.12 lakh shares on the National Stock Exchange. The stocks were traded at a mean rate of Rs 2,260 each on both exchanges, resulting in a transaction worth Rs 420.86 crore. The identities of the purchasers of HEG shares could not be determined.
HEG's stock price increased by 0.73 percentage to end at Rs 2,264.30 per share on the BSE, while its shares on the NSE rose by 0.58 percentage to Rs 2,261.50 per piece. Premji Invest sold 29.41 lakh shares of Medplus Health Services for Rs 200 crore in a bulk deal on the NSE through an open market transaction.
Premji Invest, by way of its affiliate PI Opportunities Fund - I, divested shares of Medplus Health Services. According to information from the stock market, PI Opportunities Fund - I sold Medplus shares for an average price of Rs 680, resulting in a total deal value of Rs 199.99 crore.
The identity of the purchasers of Medplus shares was unable to be determined. On the NSE, Medplus Health Services saw a decrease of 2.88 per cent on Friday, with shares closing at Rs 670 each.
