A main milestone in Assam’s recreation and entertainment industry was marked with the grand launch of PUNO Advance in Guwahati. Hyped as Northeast India’s largest indoor amusement and adventure park, the facility is located in Lokhra and promises a world-class experience that combines fitness, fun, and futuristic technology under one roof. With over 30 high-energy attractions, the park is designed for children, teenagers, families, and corporate groups alike.

PUNO, which originated in Jaipur, has been redefining leisure spaces across Indian cities. With its growth into the Northeast, the brand is looking to tap into Guwahati’s growing urban population and youthful demographic.

The new facility in the city is not merely a trampoline park it is a fully integrated "Active Amusement Arena" that offers everything from virtual reality gaming and ninja obstacle zones to augmented bowling alleys and toddler-friendly soft play areas. The idea, according to PUNO’s Director Siddhant Agarwal, is to create a destination where movement and excitement come together in a safe, indoor setting.

“Guwahati has always been a city full of energy and aspirations. With PUNO, we’re bringing an entirely new standard of indoor recreation to the Northeast,” said a Puno official to Business North East.

Among the many attractions, the Trampoline Arena remains the biggest draw, offering interconnected trampolines, slam dunk hoops, foam pits, and a dodgeball court. Another unique highlight is the Sky Stepper a suspended obstacle course designed to challenge balance, agility, and courage. For those inclined toward tech-driven play, the VR and AR zones offer an immersive experience that combines physical activity with digital interaction.

From racing games to motion-sensor battles, these attractions appeal to both kids and tech-savvy young adults. The Mad Wheels go-karting and Augmented Bowling alley add an extra thrill to group outings and corporate team-building exercises.

For younger children, the PUNO Junior zone provides a fully cushioned, safe space complete with mini slides, ball pits, and oversaw interactive games. Parents can relax at the in-house café, which offers a variety of snacks and beverages while keeping visibility of their kids playing in chosen zones. In adding to individual visits, the venue has amenities for hosting birthday parties, school field trips, and even office off-sites with customizable packages.

The timing of PUNO’s arrival in Guwahati is ideal. As the city evolves into a smart urban hub with a growing middle class, there is a clear need for all-season, indoor recreational options. Guwahati’s random weather has long limited outdoor entertainment, and PUNO’s all-weather facility provides a much-needed alternative. In many metro cities, such indoor parks have become part of the cultural fabric.

Economically, PUNO’s launch is more than just a new business venture. It contributes significantly to the local job market, employing more than 75 people in its initial phase. These include activity supervisors, safety marshals, customer service executives, VR technicians, and food service professionals. Another official said,

“We’re proud that the majority of our staff are locally recruited and trained. We want to build a culture of professionalism and hospitality in the local service sector.”

From a socio-cultural perspective, PUNO’s emphasis on “fitness through fun” is being welcomed by health-conscious families and educators. In a time when screen addiction and sedentary lifestyles are on the rise among children, the park offers an attractive alternative.

Availability has also been a key consideration. The park is open daily from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Booking options are flexible, with standard play sessions starting at Rs. 600 per person, while premium all-access packages are available at around Rs.1000– Rs.1200. Discounts are also provided for schools, colleges, and large groups.

PUNO’s arrival in Guwahati marks a bold step in bringing metro-style recreation to the Northeast. It sets a new standard for indoor amusement parks in the region and underscores the city’s readiness for world-class infrastructure in lifestyle and entertainment. Whether you’re a child, parent, gamer, fitness enthusiast, or just someone looking for an exciting escape from the routine, PUNO Guwahati offers a leap into the future of fun.
