Hemanta Bhuyan, a distinguished bamboo artisan from Rangia, Tamulpur, has garnered recognition from the North Eastern Handicrafts and Handlooms Development Corporation (NEHHDC). This acknowledgment came after NEHHDC noted an article published in Business Northeast, highlighting Bhuyan's innovative bamboo handicrafts.
Dr. Sriparna B. Baruah, NEHHDC Advisor, along with Product Design Manager Neetu Gogoi, have both commended Bhuiyan's craftsmanship. They have pledged to provide further guidance to enhance his products and have assured future orders to support his endeavors.
