MP govt receives investment proposals of Rs 23,000 crore at conclave

Sagar: The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, announced that investment offers worth Rs 23,181 crore were presented at the Regional Industry Conclave (RIC) in the city on Friday. The chief minister pointed out that 60 pc of the proposals were for investing in the Bundelkhand region where the meeting took place. "At the RIC, Yadav informed reporters that the state had received investment proposals totaling Rs 23,181 crore, creating 27,375 job opportunities."

Large industries submitted proposals worth Rs 22,241 crore, while Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) submitted proposals worth Rs 940 crore, he disclosed. Yadav stated that 96 units received Letters of Intent for the allocation of 240 acres of land, leading to an investment of Rs 1,560 crore and creation of jobs for 5,900 individuals. Pacific Meta Steel proposed an investment of Rs 3,200 crore in Niwari district, while Data Centrics proposed an investment of Rs 1,700 crore in Sagar district.

Eco Cement planned to invest Rs 2,000 crore in Panna district, while Fly Ola proposed Rs 1,800 crore investment in Sagar, Umaria, Neemuch and Singrauli districts. Bansal Group suggested investing Rs 1,350 crore in Jabalpur, Bhopal, Gwalior and Indore, and Insolation Green Energy Limited planned a Rs 1,600 crore investment in Narmadapuram district.

The chief minister also stated that a bank branch will be established in Sidhguva Industrial Area in Sagar district. He mentioned that a Mega Industrial Park spanning 1,300 acres will be established in Maswasi village as a component of the Delhi-Nagpur Industrial Corridor. Yadav mentioned that there will be a focus on promoting ODOP (One District One Product) and establishing an office of the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation in Kolkata to enhance investment opportunities. Previously, Ujjain, Jabalpur, and Gwalior also hosted similar RICs. Almost 3,500 attendees, such as foreign delegates and diplomats from various countries, participated in the event.
