Melita Luxury Skincare Debuts in the Northeast Following Rising Demand

Guwahati, Assam – Melita Luxury Skincare has introduced its skincare products to the Northeast region of India.

Headquartered in Bangalore, Melita was co-founded by a passionate team of skincare enthusiasts, including Business Head Manas Kashyap, a native of Guwahati; Chief Operating Officer Abhishek Kumar; Chief Marketing Officer Vartika Choudhary; and Chief Executive Officer Nitin Chugwani. 

United by their vision of providing accessible luxury skincare, the team has propelled the brand to rapid growth, with a mission to bring luxurious, result-oriented products to the Northeast, focusing on nourishing, hydrating, and revitalizing the skin.

Manufactured in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, Melita utilizes ethically sourced, natural ingredients, including sugarcane-derived squalane. The brand's vegan skincare products are designed to hydrate and nourish the skin while being environmentally friendly.

Melita was born out of a passion for making luxury skincare accessible. "We wanted to create an Indian homegrown brand that challenges the notion that high-quality skincare is only available at exorbitant prices," Kashyap said. "Our inspiration stems from a desire to empower individuals to feel confident and beautiful in their skin. By combining high-quality ingredients, innovative formulations, and ethical practices, we aim to redefine luxury skincare as accessible and sustainable."

In an exclusive interview with Business North East, Kashyap expressed his excitement about bringing Melita Luxury Skincare to the Northeast. "As a native of Guwahati, I understand the unique skincare needs of the region's people. Our goal is to provide luxurious, effective skincare solutions that cater to their specific requirements." He also noted that the brand has already received orders from Nagaland and Mizoram.

Kashyap elaborated on the innovative aspects of their products, particularly highlighting squalane. 

Melita's flagship product, the Melita Ultra Hydrating Essence, stands out for its ability to deliver up to 400 percent hydration, resulting in plump, youthful skin. Its advanced formula features a unique blend of squalane, glycolic acid, hyaluronic acid, and peptides to effectively target multiple skin concerns, improving skin texture, reducing dark spots, and strengthening the skin barrier while promoting affordable luxury.

Additionally, Melita emphasizes sustainability by including plant seed paper with every product to encourage environmental consciousness.

As Melita expands its presence in the Northeast, the brand plans to engage with local communities to introduce its skincare offerings, emphasizing its commitment to making effective skincare accessible to a wider audience. "We are currently experiencing rapid growth every month and expect to see over 100 times our current sales by the next financial year. Business expansion is ongoing, and we are receiving positive responses from customers, along with noticeable repeat orders," said Kashyap.
