California: As per reports, Mark Zuckerberg has taken to fashion to express his belief that "learning is best achieved through suffering." The Meta CEO shared this philosophy while wearing a black T-shirt emblazoned with the Greek phrase "pathei mathos," which loosely translates to "learning through suffering." He revealed this during a mid-September appearance on the "Acquired" podcast recorded at San Francisco's Chase Center.

Reportedly, Zuckerberg described the phrase as "a little family saying" and indicated that he has begun working on a series of T-shirts featuring some of his favorite classical expressions. At a subsequent Meta keynote presentation, he sported another black tee, this time featuring the phrase "aut Zuck, aut nihil," a modern twist on the Latin "aut Caesar, aut nihil," meaning "either a Caesar or nothing."

The shirts were developed in collaboration with Mike Amiri, a fashion designer based in Los Angeles. Despite his busy schedule managing Meta, innovating AI-enhanced spectacles, and parenting three children, the 40-year-old Zuckerberg is also venturing into clothing design.
Zuckerberg’s interest in fashion has become evident as he moves away from his trademark grey hoodies to embrace more upscale pieces, including $250 Bode shirts adorned with embroidered flowers. His recent T-shirt creations signal that his fashion evolution is ongoing. While Zuckerberg has not elaborated on the significance of the Greek and Latin phrases, he seems to embody the modern millennial persona intrigued by classical themes and Roman strength.
