As per reports, Ford Motor is set to enhance the luxury and technology of its popular Expedition SUV as part of a major redesign aimed at staying competitive in the large SUV segment. The 2025 Ford Expedition, expected to hit dealerships by spring, will feature significant updates to both its interior and exterior, boosting comfort and technological integration.
Reportedly, among the highlights of the redesigned three-row SUV are a sleek, refined design, improved comfort features, and advanced technology, including a 24-inch driver display and the integration of Ford's BlueCruise hands-free highway driving system. These additions aim to make driving more convenient and enjoyable for families.
“We spent over 1,100 hours engaging with customers about their daily lives. Using these insights, we’ve reimagined the Expedition to help families maximise their time together and make every trip easier, from start to finish,” said Trevor Scott, Ford Utilities General Manager.
Although Ford has not yet confirmed exact pricing, the 2025 Expedition is expected to start at around 63,000 dollars, including destination charges, which is over $5,000 more than the current 2024 model. However, the starting price still remains below the $70,000 average transaction price of existing SUVs in this class.
