New Delhi: On Thursday, Kisanserv, an agricultural technology company, announced that it aims to achieve a revenue goal of Rs 500 crore in the next four years by expanding to 250 stores in major cities. In a statement, Kisanserv mentioned that the company's revenue in FY24 was Rs 35 crore.

This expansion plans to create 2,000 direct and potentially 5,000 indirect jobs, with a particular emphasis on local recruitment, particularly of women, it stated. Afterward, the company plans to grow by opening 1,000 new stores in the future, venturing into new markets like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai.

By cutting out intermediaries, we have provided fresher produce at much cheaper rates while guaranteeing farmers more than twice the usual income. CEO of Kisanserv, Niranjan Sharma stated that this method not only gives strength to farmers but also provides great benefits to our customers.

He stated that at the moment, 70 per cent of Kisanserv's income is generated from sales made in physical stores, while online purchases make up 30 per cent.
