Kid Veda Launches Prestigious Indian Knowledge System for Young Learners

For the first time, Kid Veda has launched the prestigious Indian Knowledge System (IKS) program for young learners enrolled at Kid Veda Centers for the 2024-25 session.

The event featured Dr. Sampadananda Mishra, Director of the Center for Human Sciences at Rishiwood University, a renowned Sanskrit scholar, member of the Kendra Sahitya Academy, and President of the Indian Awardee, as the chief guest. He serves as a mentor and guide for Kid Veda in this program. The occasion was also attended by Dr. Kalpita Bujarbaruah, Head of the Department of Sanskrit at B. Borooah College, and Dr. Gayatri Sharma, Head of the Department of Sanskrit at Handique Girls' College.

During his address, Dr. Mishra stated, "IKS embodies the values and ancient language of Sanskrit, which should be introduced and taught among young learners. Through Sanskrit, IKS will present the language in a highly innovative manner.

"Ms. Sharmistha N. Paliwal, Director of Kid Veda, expressed, "Kid Veda continuously strives to introduce new learning skills to children. IKS, through Sanskrit, has already been implemented by schools in Rajasthan, and we are excited to introduce it for the first time in Northeast India, specifically in Guwahati. Our future initiatives will focus on expanding IKS into rural areas of Northeast India and Assam. Currently, over 4,000 students are connected with Kid Veda."
