New Delhi :In the second quarter of the current fiscal year, retail sales at Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover decreased by 3 pc to 1,03,108 units compared to the same period last year. Tata Motors reported in a statement that retail sales in the first half of the financial year reached 214,288 units, showing a 3 pc  increase compared to the previous year.

In Q2 FY25, production was limited to 86,000 units, decreasing by 7 per cent from 93,000 units in the previous year due to aluminium supply issues in Q1 FY25, as stated in the report. The company stated that they anticipate a significant increase in both production and wholesale volumes in the second half of the financial year once the aluminium supply situation has stabilized.
