JITO launches North-East Guwahati Chapter to empower youths

Guwahati: The Jain International Trade Organization (JITO), a leading organization of the entire Jain society has established its North-East Guwahati chapter.

With an aim to empower Jain society and issues like economic progress, social service, education and health in priority, on Sunday, all office bearers and members of the North-East Guwahati Chapter were formally sworn in at a function organized at Hotel Vishwaratan in Guwahati.

The swearing in was conducted under the chairmanship of Sunil Kathotia. Office bearers of the women and youth wing of the North-East Guwahati chapter of JITO were also administered oath in the ceremony.

Sunil Kathotia, Chairman, JITO North-East Guwahati Chapter, while welcoming the attendees, said that after a long wait, the auspicious moment has arrived, when the North-East Guwahati Chapter of JITO is being formally established. He expressed special gratitude to Advisor Kamal Kumar Jain (Hathigola) and Secretary Manoj Bokadia of JITO East Zone.

Apex President of the organisation, Abhay Srishrimal talked about taking the benefits of the organisation to the people of the society. He said that this institution will last for centuries. We should focus on issues like our economic progress, social service, empowerment, education and health, he said.

JITO Administrative Training Foundation (JATF) Chairman Vinod Dugad said in his address that we all must start all our activities from the Northeast. About 300 of our brothers and sisters are associated with administrative services and through them we can convey our message to the government, he said JATF helps the children of the society to prepare for UPSC and Civil Services Exams.

IPS officer Ankur Jain and IAS officer Abhishek Jain also expressed their views at the function.

Manoj Sethia, Chief Secretary, JITO North-East Guwahati Chapter told the media that the main objective of JITO is to develop and empower the society by gathering all the Jain brothers under one roof, appealed to all the Jain brothers from the North East, including Assam, to join JITO and gave Vote of Thanks to all guests & audience.
