Investor Connect Programme in Shillong Fosters Startup Growth

The Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) have hosted an Investor Connect Programme in Shillong, Meghalaya, aimed at connecting technology startups with prominent investors and government stakeholders.

The event featured seven esteemed investors, including Dr. Vibhuti Aggarwal of Realtime Angel Fund, Bhavish Sood of Modulor Capital, Abhishek Gulia of Agility Ventures, Gaurav Chauhan of Mankind Family Office, Aaquib Hussain of Freeflow Ventures, Pranta Pratim Singha of NRL Venture Fund, and Sadique Mannan from IIM Calcutta Innovation Park. 

Key attendees included Vandana Srivastava, Jurisdictional Director of STPI-Guwahati, Dr. Nalin Srivastava from MeitY, and MSH officials  Omkarnath Rath and Sajid Raza.

The programme showcased a diverse group of startups across various sectors, including healthcare, data analytics and AI, gaming & entertainment, IoT, AR/VR, and senior care. Notable participants included Theta Labs – Infinite Swasthya Pvt. Ltd., NHOMES – Stackcell Realty Pvt. Ltd., AIZALIQ Studios, Impact Weaver Private Limited., LW3 Private Ltd., KHAWL Khelh Private Ltd., Baby Jingles Private Ltd., SilverGenie Private Ltd., Yakirol Engineering Services Private Ltd., Studio 3.14, and IQVenus Technologies Private Limited. 

The event also provided a platform for in-depth discussions between investors and government stakeholders, focusing on enhancing collaboration and supporting both early and revenue-stage startups.
