New Delhi: India Opportunities Growth Fund sold a 1.7 per cent share in Electrosteel Castings for Rs 219 crore in an open market deal on Monday. Based on the bulk deal information on the NSE, India Opportunities Growth Fund Ltd - Pinewood Strategy sold 1,05,00,000 shares, representing a 1.7 per cent ownership in Electrosteel Castings.
The stocks were sold for a mean price of Rs 209.03 each, resulting in a total transaction value of Rs 219.48 crore. Following the sale of shares, the stake of India Opportunities Castings shares. Electrosteel Castings' stocks surged by 5.68 pc to end at Rs 221.80 each on the NSE.
