IIE to organise Entrepreneurship Awareness Program in Kohima from October 19

Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), an autonomous Organization under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is setting up an Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) in Kohima, Nagaland. IIE will organize a two-day Entrepreneurship Awareness and Outreach Program in Kohima from 19th October to 20th October 2022 with the launching program.

The EDC objective of the project is to provide an enabling environment for entrepreneurship, where the State will establish systems, covering policy interventions, institutional strengthening, and implementation backed by a robust monitoring and evaluation mechanism realizing the importance of the state taking necessary steps to focus its efforts on entrepreneurship-related training.

Such activities will enable the youth of Nagaland to become job creators and not seekers. The Entrepreneurs will also be assisted with credit and market linkage and handholding support.

The eligibility criteria of the participants for the program include:

1) Candidates must be a domicile of Nagaland.
2) The participants should be a fresh entrants
3) Aspiring and existing entrepreneurs
4) Candidates must be willing to undergo the Entrepreneurship Development Program after attending the Entrepreneurship Awareness Program.

The programme will be attended by officials from Directorate of Employment, Skill Development& Entrepreneurship, Nagaland who will highlight on the key issues faced by entrepreneurs in Nagaland and how to overcome the obstacles faced in the path of Entrepreneurship.
