Kamrup: A senior official of Indradhanush Gas Grid Limited (IGGL), a joint venture of IOCL, ONGCL, GAIL, OIL, and NRL, has highlighted the project's potential to contribute to industrial development in Northeast India and its benefits to all sections of society.

The initiative was reaffirmed by Rajib Kumar Bhattacharyya, chief human resource officer of IGGL, as he distributed school bags to children in schools located near its compressor station in Baihata on the outskirts of the capital Guwahati.

The school bags were distributed by IGGL officials and management committee members. The project, which connects all Northeastern states to bring natural gas, has achieved over 80 percent completion.

The outreach initiative is part of IGGL's ongoing commitment to "making a positive impact on society and supporting the education of young minds", Bhattacharyya has underlined.
