New Delhi: Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd announced on Wednesday that its subsidiary has obtained letters of award for smart meter projects totaling Rs 4,469.04 crore.
Genus Power's wholly-owned subsidiary has received three Letters of Acceptance (LoAs), but the entity's name was not disclosed.
The company stated in a filing that the branch received three Letter of Awards (LOA) totaling Rs 4,469.04 crore (net of taxes) for the appointment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Providers. This includes designing an AMI system, supplying, installing and commissioning about 5.59 million smart prepaid meters, system meters, including DT Meters, with energy accounting. The project will be carried out on a Design-Build Finance-Own-Operate-Transfer basis.
