Guwahati: Renowned Market Master, individual investor, and TEDx speaker Vijay Kedia addressed the youth, particularly students, at a session organized by The Assam Royal Global University on September 20, 2024. During the event, Kedia emphasized the importance of making informed financial decisions and urged students to avoid being swayed by external opinions.
The session, moderated by Pallav Bagaria, Director of Sapient Finserv Pvt. Ltd., focused on the principles of smart investing. Kedia advised students to thoroughly review company performance reports before investing, reminding them that financial success requires patience. He referenced the saying, “Rome was not built in a day,” and added, “however, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed in less than one day,” highlighting the importance of perseverance over rash decision-making. Describing himself as a "Work in Progress," Kedia shared his key investment insight: invest in a company at its inflection point for maximum returns.
Dr. A.K. Pansari, Chancellor of Royal Global University, stressed the value of such sessions in shaping a financially secure future for students. The session also saw participation from senior university members, including Prof. M.K.
