Vaibhavam Sweets & Snacks by Rishiraj Borkotoky Group (RB Group), located in the bustling Centro Mall on Zoo Road in Guwahati, has announced a range of special offers to celebrate the Diwali season. With the festival of lights approaching, the shop is ready to embrace the festive spirit with a variety of enticing products.
Among the special offers are premium hampers, gifting boxes, corporate gifting solutions, sweet combo boxes, dry fruit combo boxes, and elegant customized gift hampers. Pricing for these options varies based on customer preferences and customization. Sweet and snack combo boxes are priced between Rs 350 and Rs 1,500, while dry fruit combo boxes start at Rs 500 and can go up to Rs 1,000. The elegantly customized boxes begin at Rs 1,500, depending on the level of customization desired.
The entire branch has been adorned with vibrant lights and flowers, creating a festive ambiance. Customers can be seen eagerly selecting gift hampers, and the shop is buzzing with activity, indicative of the high foot traffic typical during this season.
During a recent visit, Business North East journalist Jyotishman Sharma had an insightful conversation with the branch manager, Nripen. He emphasized that Vaibhavam strives to deliver quality products to its customers, particularly during the Diwali season, which attracts significantly more visitors than on regular days. "We are offering special deals and unique packaging this year," Nripen stated. Last year, sales during the Diwali season reached approximately Rs 60-70 lakhs, and this year targeting for another Rs 1 Cr. Diwali sweets and snacks have been stocked to meet the growing demand. Retailers from nearby areas also purchase from Vaibhavam to stock their stores, contributing to the shop’s success.

Management further revealed that Vaibhavam has ambitious plans for expansion, including two outlets in Kolkata, as well as locations in Gurgaon, South Delhi, and Amritsar. By 2025, Jorhat in Assam will also see the establishment of two outlets of Vaibhavam Sweets, Snacks & Restaurant. The new outlets will feature not only the renowned sweets and snacks but also a "Vaibhavam" restaurant, offering a broader range of products to cater to diverse tastes.
The turnover for Vaibhavam in its first year was approximately Rs 3 crore, followed by Rs 7 crore in the second year. The target for 2025-26 is Rs 100 crore, including Vaibhavam Caterings by Rishiraj Borkotoky Group (RB Group).
