Cotton University Hosts Assam's Premier Entrepreneurship Pitching Competition Startup Manthan 3.0, the Assam Chapter, is an entrepreneurship idea pitching competition held at Cotton University. Nineteen teams registered and presented their innovative ideas before the esteemed jury.
The respected jury members include Dr. Chandana Goswami, Attryee Borooah Theekdath, Pranjal Konwar, and Krishna Hazarika Rao. The event is sponsored by Oil India Limited and the State Bank of India. Expert partners include Assam Startup and IIM Calcutta, with Grow Hub serving as the gift partner.
Awards were given for the Winner, Runners-Up, and Second Runners-Up, with participation certificates distributed to all contestants. This platform provides an opportunity for innovative ideas to gain exposure and potentially attract investors. Deepa Kalita, Placement Officer of the Placement and Career Counseling Cell at Cotton University, stated, "This initiative creates opportunities for youth entrepreneurship and provides a platform for unique startup ideas.
The expansion of Startup Manthan from 1.0 to 3.0 has faced many challenges, but this year we saw participation from various parts of the state."
