Hong Kong: Cathay Pacific is set to elevate the in-flight experience with the upcoming launch of its retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, featuring the new Business class Aria Suite, upgraded Premium Economy, and refreshed Economy cabins. The newly enhanced aircraft will be available on select routes starting this October, with more routes to be added over time.

Revealed at a recent event in Hong Kong, the retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER offers a three-class configuration with 361 seats, including 45 flat-bed Business class, 48 Premium Economy, and 268 Economy seats.

According to a statement from the airline, the Aria Suite is designed with customer experience at its core. While retaining key elements from Cathay Pacific's current Business class, such as a reverse herringbone seating layout, spacious beds, and ample storage, the Aria Suite introduces new features and enhancements aimed at offering an upgraded Business class journey.

Passenger’s privacy has been given utmost importance
One of the standout features of the Aria Suite is its improved privacy. It introduces a suite door, creating a fully enclosed space for passengers to work, relax, and rest in comfort. Though the door must be kept open during taxi, takeoff, and landing, passengers can deploy it once the aircraft is in the air. The Aria Suite also allows center-seat passengers the option to use a movable partition for added privacy or to open it up for a shared experience with a travel companion.

Cathay Pacific's new Business class suites are designed to meet the growing digital needs of travellers. The Aria Suite is equipped with wireless charging for phones and small devices, placed conveniently on the suite's upper marble-style console. Other features include USB-A, USB-C ports, AC power outlets, and an integrated holder for portable devices.

Other advanced Features
Passengers can also connect their Bluetooth-enabled headphones to the in-flight entertainment system, which includes a 24-inch 4K ultra-high-definition screen for a more immersive viewing experience. Additionally, the suite offers customizable lighting options, allowing travellers to adjust the ambiance with a touch of a button or rely on Cathay Pacific’s activity-based lighting presets.
Cathay Pacific’s enhanced Business class offering, along with the improvements in Premium Economy and Economy cabins, reflects the airline’s focus on providing a superior in-flight experience for its passengers.
